Job Summary

ZEP-RE is seeking a highly analytical and self-driven professional to support the delivery of our corporate strategy. This high-impact role demands strong execution discipline, confidence in working with data and digital tools, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The role will primarily support the Group Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff by translating strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans and driving disciplined execution across all business units. Job Details

Responsibilities and accountabilities   

1.    Strategy Implementation & Performance Tracking

• Liaise and assist business units and functional leaders in translating strategic initiatives into detailed work plans with clear milestones and deliverables. 
• Maintain strategy dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to track progress against strategic objectives and KPIs.
• Establish mechanisms, tools and initiatives that ensure clarity and consistency in execution expectations throughout the strategy periods.
• Facilitate workshops, forums and working sessions with various stakeholders with the aim of focusing on the execution of specific strategic priorities and projects.
• Flag and coordinate resolution of execution slippages.

 

2.    Executive Engagement

• Support the coordination of key strategic events such as EXCO, Management and Board Strategy Retreats.
• Support in the preparation of presentations, reports, meeting briefs and speeches
• Support in managing and tracking Key priority initiatives per agreed work plans

 

3.    Data, Analytics, and Insight Generation

• Analyze internal/external data to inform decision making (e.g., benchmarks, industry trends).
• Produce executive performance briefs, reports, and dashboards for leadership.
• Support automation of routine reporting using tools like Power BI or Excel

 

4.    Project Management and Special Assignments

• Support on the execution of special cross functional projects in the Executive office
• Act as a change champion, promoting collaboration and alignment across departments.
• Drive adoption of best practices in project management and execution discipline.
 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related discipline with relevant professional qualifications.
• 7–9 years of progressive experience in strategy formulation and execution, business performance management, financial services (experience in Insurance and/or Reinsurance is an added advantage), management consulting, project management, or business analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, generate insights, and support executive decision-making in a multinational or matrixed environment.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, including Power BI, with advanced skills in MS Office and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
• Excellent executive presentation and report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading or contributing to high-performing, cross-functional teams across diverse functions and geographies.
